Busy Weekend!

Incredibly busy weekend. I was subbing at the front desk on Friday. The teacher did not show up so I taught class. I taught on Saturday and Sunday and practiced both days. Today I am burned out and am staying away from the studio. I am doing the am class tomorrow and will work on choreography a little tonight and try to relax a little. I did take on a lot of classes this next month and that will be taxing but I feel the experience is worth it right now. I will just have to give myself room to breath when I can. Tonight will be one of those nights. We had a lot of other activities at my house this past weekend with kids and redecorating the bedroom, so I did do a lot. I even got some cleaning done. Cleaning got way behind when I was at teacher training. Actually it just doesn’t get done at all. Yesterday my daughter came home so I had to make dinner too. She is very resentful about my teaching yoga. So is my mom. And frankly, I just don’t understand it. I am so supportive of my daughter and always encourage her. Of course, from my mom that is exactly what I would expect but I mean let up already right? I am 50 and don’t need her opinion on everything I do. Sometimes I just get tired of that kind of bs. I put up with enough on my job.Luckily John wants me to be happy and do what I like. So really that is all that matters. We are planning our trip to Maui when we get married. There are several yoga studios I want to visit when I am there. In between relaxing on the beach!
